Fincantieri NexTech at the Italian Army “C2 Systems Study Days”
In an increasingly dynamic and complex international context, the Armed Forces have initiated a technological development process as an essential path to respond to new challenges. This journey involves a mutual and fertile exchange with the industrial world, which will ensure a concrete digital transformation for our Armed Forces.
For this reason, Fincantieri NexTech participated in the “C2 Systems Study Days ” promoted by the Italian Army (Esercito Italiano), held from held from 15th to 17th October, 2024 in Rome (Italy), to showcase the ‘IMPERIO’ C2 system and its possible evolutions.
Supplied in partnership by Fincantieri NexTech and Systematic, “IMPERIO” represents a powerful and scalable C2 system for battlefield management. It offers a comprehensive and user-friendly set of tools for commanders, enhancing their effectiveness during Military Operations.
The new C2 system has the potential to significantly enhance operational flexibility, minimize deployment time, and offer extensive interoperability capabilities. The availability of situational awareness information in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner is a key enabler for the effective Command and Control of combat forces and the achievement of military objectives.
