C2 IMPERIO: familiarization and training for the ITALIAN ARMY

In the past weeks, new familiarization and training courses of the “IMPERIO” Command & Control System – C2 for the Italian Army were conducted at the Fincantieri NexTech headquarters in Rome.

Supplied in partnership by Fincantieri NexTech and Systematic, IMPERIO represents a powerful and scalable Command & Control system for battlefield management. It offers a comprehensive and user-friendly set of tools for commanders, enhancing their effectiveness during military and civilian operations. 

The new C2 system has the potential to significantly enhance operational flexibility, minimize deployment time, and offers extensive interoperability capabilities. The availability of situational awareness information in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner is a key enabler for the effective command and control of combat forces and the achievement of military objectives.

Our C2 has been tailored to meet the Italian Army requirements, allowing our Army’s operational units to effortlessly assimilate current and prospective tactical systems. This advancement

promotes interoperability within the Italian Armed Force, NATO, and other allied international forces.
